As on Zer that engineer put it to give perspective: "I started with autocad 2.0. I was an Autocad Registered Developer for Autocad 9, 10 and 11. I've been driving CAD systems since I was knee high to jimmy hoffa. I currently run Catia, Solidworks, and Mechanical Desktop on a regular basis. Your "pay" rate exceeds that of professional degreed engineers in the aerospace field (the field in which I currenlty work). If it's one thing I know, it's the going rate for Engineers, Designers, and Draftsmen. And in the aerospace field (government back and private), the rate is no where close to what you make."
My adverseries crumble when we rumble, it's a catastrophe
I have a morning ritual that I need to share. I call it "the terminator". First I crouch down in the shower in the classic "naked terminator traveling through time" pose. With my eyes closed I crouch there for a minute, visualizing either Arnold or the guy from the second movie (not the chick in the third one because that one sucked) and I start to hum the terminator theme. Then I slowly rise to a standing position and open my eyes. It helps me to proceed through my day as an emotionless, cyborg badass. The only problem is if the shower curtain sticks to my terminator leg. It ruins the fantasy..
